Ho Chi Minh City launched the first venture capital fund with an initial charter capital of VND 500 billion, combining state budget and private capital, supporting startups from incubation to growth.
On April 17, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City officially launched the Venture Capital Fund with an initial charter capital of 500 billion VND, of which the city budget contributed 200 billion VND (40%) and private investors contributed 300 billion VND (60%). The goal is that by 2035, the fund size will reach 5,000 billion VND.
